Apostle (Dr) Debra Brown was born in Tampa, Florida to James and Louise(Deceased) Daniels. She has been married to Apostle J. w. Brown for over 35 years. They are the parents of two children and the grandparents of seven grandchildren.  

 

Apostle Brown is Co-Founder of Rock of Salvation Christian Church, which was established March 2009. Since 2011, Apostle Dr. Brown has served as  Pastor of Rock of Salvation Christian Church. Apostle  Brown is also the Co-Founder of Brown GospelNet Ministries. Apostle Brown retired from the Army with over 20 years of honorable service as a Master Sergeant.

 

Apostle Brown was licensed to minister in Fairbanks, Alaska, under the spiritual covering of Pastor Charles R. Barlow. She was licensed to preach under the Southern Baptist Denomination in May 2002. She was ordained as an Elder in November 2006, under the late Bishop David H. Bell of the United American Free Will Baptist Denomination, Cape Fear "B" Conference.

 

Apostle Brown was baptized while she was a member of New Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church. During her military career, she worshiped and served at many churches, including: William Chapel FWB Church, St John Baptist Church, Union Missionary Baptist Church, Fryes Chapel FWB Church and other churches in Germany and Korea. Apostle Brown has served as choir member, president of the choir, choir director, Sunday school teacher, youth minster, women Bible study teacher and  Director of the Fresh Start Ministry  (Providing Breakfast).

 

Apostle Brown is an inspired teacher of the Word, and she uses a simple approach to the Word: trust the Holy Spirit for understanding. She stands firmly on John 14:26:"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." The Holy Spirit is the teacher we have to trust in order to receive "Divine Revelation."

 

Apostle Brown is an accomplished songwriter and is often called "Songbird". Her heart is full of Praise and Worship to the Lord. She is the Praise and Worship Leader at the ROCK and is often called upon to sing for different events when she travels to preach the Word. Along with her husband, Apostle Brown has written several songs. She has also written  a riveting  poem entitled "You Say",  reminding us about what our mouths say about children, and how we can use words to help them. Alongside her husband, Apostle Brown operates powerfully in the five fold ministry (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher). 

 

Apostle Brown has preached in several states (Alaska, California, Florida, Georgia and North Carolina) for programs which included Women & Men Conferences, Pastor's Anniversaries and Appreciations, Choir Anniversaries, Missions programs, Women Day Programs, Usher's Day Program and Retreats, just to name a few.

 

Apostle Brown received her first Associate Degree (Social Science and Business Management-2005) from Barstow Community College, located in  Barstow, CA. She received her Bachelor Degree (Sociology- 2007) from Methodist University, located in Fayetteville, NC; and she received her second Associate Degree from Shekinah Glory Ministries - School of Ministries Associate Degree Program (Biblical Studies - 2011). She received her Masters Degree from Liberty University, Lynchburg VA (Pastoral Counseling 2013), and received her Doctoral Degree from Bible Institute of America, Raeford NC (Theology 2018). Apostle Brown also served as Chaplain for the Raeford Warrior Family Miniseries.

 

Apostle Brown's  favorite scriptures include:

 Matthew 6:33 KJV "But seek ye first the "Kingdom of God" and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto thee" AND 

Roman 8:1 -"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit".

 

You have to seek after the right thing which is the "Kingdom of God" and because you are in Christ Jesus there is "No Condemnation".
